Yo Gabba Gabba: Cool and edgy kiddie show!

Being a parent of a very young child, there will be a lot of times where you will be subjected to watch boring, children/baby-themed shows. There's a particular show out there that has been surviving on reusing the same songs over and over for the last twenty-odd years, and it's starting to get on my nerves. However, there's one show that me and my little girl would always have fun watching and its: Yo Gabba Gabba!

Yo Gabba Gabba is a sheep rockin' in wolves' clothing! The show may seem to target the below 7 market, but heck they got some for us adults too!
Several of the show's older fans told ABCNews.com that the indie-musicians featured on the show make it that much more attractive.

These unique qualities led Brown Johnson, creative director for Nickelodeon, to pick up the show, and they are why co-creators Christian Jacobs and Scott Schultz explain the older fan base.

"It makes sense that college-age kids would take interest in watching because there is a strong pop culture element to this show, and because we have popular bands that college-age students like on the show," said Jacobs in an e-mail to ABCNews.com.

Just some of the cooler indie bands and actors have appeared on the show are listed below:
  • Jack Black
  • Tony Hawk
  • Amare Stoudamire of the Phoenix Suns
  • Elijah Wood
  • Shiny Toy Gun
  • Jimmy Eat World
...and many more!
